Four Aces These 11.5 gram metal insert chips are very similar to most common 11.5 gram composites, the main difference being that they have a full inlay that is painted on the chip - there is no sticker. The graphics are very high quality. It was impossible to scratch the graphics with a fingernail but quite easy to scratch with a knife. When scratched, the white base color of the chip could be seen underneath, similar to a Chipco chip.

These chips come in 13 different denominations all the way from .05 to $10,000. That's the most I've ever seen offered.

I was sent numerous samples of this chip. Sample diameters were 40.05, 40.00, 40.01 and 40.02mm. Three chips stacked together were 10.01mm thick.

There are eight stripes and no edge ridge on this chip. The stripes are not painted on, they are solid through the chip. There are no edge ridges on this chip. I could not see an injection mold spot.

Poker chip These chips are known as 'Faux Clay' chips on some other sites. They are a combination of a diamond edge chip and an 11.5 gram metal insert composite chip. They are similar in appearance to the common 'Dice' composite chips but weigh 9.5 grams, have no metal insert, are one-color, and have no edge spots. These chips feel much more textured and rubbery than an 11.5 gram composite. They also feel less 'plasticy' than a diamond chip.

These chips have less of a metallic ring to them than a typical 11.5 gram metal insert composite chip. The sound is about half-way between the sound of a metal insert composite and a diamond edge chip. The appearance is also half-way between a composite and a diamond chip - it has the moldings of a 'Dice' chip but the single-color, no edge spots, appearance of a diamond chip. There is a rather large injection mold pimple in a trench on one side of the chip. You can see it at the twelve o'clock position in the image to the left. There are no edge ridges on this chip.

I was sent numerous samples of this chip. Sample diameters were 40.12, 40.11 and 40.06mm. Three chips stacked together were 9.95mm thick.

These chips are a very good deal for the money. For the price of a diamond chip, you get a bit heavier chip that is a touch prettier than your typical diamond chip. The lack of edge spots mars an otherwise excellent deal.

Triple Crown Comp 3 N D 11.5 N/H N 1 .32 100 170 220 320

Tri-color Suited Tri-color Triple Crown The printing and engraving details on these composites was good, as it seems to be on all 5StarDeal composites. The Triple Crown chips are some of the nicest designed 11.5 gram composites that I've seen. Both these chips have nice colors and nice edge spots. There is no purple chip available in these two composite styles but there is a very purple-looking blue chip available.

I was sent numerous samples of this chip. Sample diameters were 40.05, 40.23, 40.20 and 40.20mm. Three chips stacked together were 9.96mm thick.

The Tri-Color Suit chips have four edge spots and diamonds and bars on the rolling edge. I don't usually like bars on the edge but they don't look too bad on this chip. The Triple Crown has three edge spots and diamonds on the edge. The center is not recessed.
