These Tortuga Coast Privateers poker chips are ceramic chips based on the true legend of the Privateers,
Pirates and Buccaneers who made their home on this treacherous side of the island of Haiti. The graphics feature a stylized skull & crossbones
with a pirate sword.
There is micro-printing on the perimeter of the face of the chip - it appears to be some sort of pirate code or curse. The top of the chips has
'set upon them' and then there are words covered by the skull & crossbones graphics. 'Isle of Tortuga' is printed at the bottom of the chip.
These chips come in the standard colors and denominations from 1 to 5000. There is a 5000 gray octagon chip (not shown) available for 75¢ and a
bounty chip for 90¢ (not shown).
The denominations are printed in letters and digits on the rolling edge of the chip. The printing is quite small and just barely readable without
holding the chip close to your eyes. There are no currency symbols on these chips.
Sample weights were 10.15, 10.17, 10.09, 10.17, 10.20 and 10.18 grams. Sample diameters were 39.17, 39.05, 39.08, 38.91, 38.98 and 39.06mm. Six chips
stacked was 20.23mm in height.

This Texas Ranger Bounty Chip
is lightly larger than a typical poker chip and
can be used in your poker games when bounties are used. Each player can be issued one of these chips at the start of your tournament and when a player is eliminated, the
bounty chip is collected by the player who won the pot. Bounty chips can then be cashed in by at the end of the tournament for a money reward.
One face of the chip has the word "Bounty" with several bullet holes and the other face of the chip has the word "Bounty", a map outline of Texas,
a couple bullet holes, and "DEAD OR ALIVE" printed at the bottom. "REDEEM AT FIRST STATE BANK OF TEXAS IN AUSTIN" is printed across the top perimeter
of the chip and "PROPERTY OF THE TEXAS RANGERS' across the bottom. Text printed on the rolling edge of the chip states "PROPERTY OF THE TEXAS RANGERS".
The sample weight is 11.84 grams. The diameter of the bounty chip is 42.61mm, slightly larger than a typical poker chip. One chip is 3.28mm in height.

These are poker chips designed by hot rod artist Chris Cooper. They are a ceramic poker chip similar to the Nevada Jacks
composite or Sunfly poker chips.
The colors are very vibrant colors with seductive graphics. The chip denominations are printed in white on the face of the chip
and also on the rolling edge.
Sample weights were 9.63, 9.86, 9.90, 9.92, 9.91, 10.07, and 9.90 grams. Sample diameters were 39.36, 39.34, 39.30, 39.33, 39.28,
39.31, and 39.24mm. Seven chips stacked together was 23.44mm in height.
These poker chips certainly feature a unique design and will appeal to a certain group of people. They are certainly beautifully
designed with a theme well suited for poker. These are poker chip for the devil in you but won't cost you your soul! The chips sell

These are non-denominational versions of the Paulson Pharaoh's poker chips. The mold used on these chips is different from
the mold used on the denominational Paulson Pharaoh chips. This mold features the four card suits and the Paulson Top
Hat & Cane as opposed to the "PAULSON CHIPS" lettering used on the mold for the denomination chips. The chip
colors and edge spots are the same on both styles of chips.
Sample weights were 8.86, 9.58, 9.58, 9.90, 9.89, 9.54, and 9.70 grams. Sample diameters were 39.07, 39.17, 39.08, 39.15, 39.08,
39.16, and 39.22mm. Seven chips stacked together was 23.45mm thick.
The image on the far right is actually an orange color rather than the off-white color that is shown. My scanner has difficulty
scanning the combination of colors on that particular chip. Please visit the

These are 10 gram ceramic poker chips. The finish on the chip is very fine, much like a Chipco ceramic poker chip. It does not
have the rougher feel of some ceramic chips.
There are two large bi-color edge spots on each chip. One half of each edge spot is yellow in color and the other half is a
different color that is similar to the base color of the chip. This makes some of the second colors a bit hard to see. There is
a very subdued and dark overall design to these chips and it is somewhat difficult to differentiate between some of the darker
chip colors.
Sample weights were 10.33, 10.21, 10.24, 10.24, 10.24, and 10.28 grams. Sample diameters were 39.38, 39.45, 39.44, 39.45, 39.38,
and 39.30mm. Six chips stacked together was 19.86mm thick.
These chips are only 42 cents each, which is a good price for ceramic poker chips. If you like the design, they are a very good
buy and you could make a nice poker tournament chip set by ordering three contrasting colors.10% off: HPT10
These are 11.5 gram metal-insert chips with a large recessed center area, making it a good candidate for affixing your own
customized paper labels to. The border area around the outside of the chip is 3.25mm thick and the inner recessed area is 2.5mm
thick. The recessed area is 31.9mm (1.25") in diameter.
There are six black edge spots on each chip except for the black chip, which features white edge spots. There is also a black
bar between each spot on the top and bottom face of the chip. The bar actually gives the chip a nice overall appearance. The
edge spots are a bit hard to view on the darker colored blue and purple chips.
There are several different types of injection mold dimples on these chips. You can view one dimple in the center of the blue
chip to the left, the opposite side of the same blue chip has four dimples like the pink chip to the right. Some chips have a single
dimple near the outside border of the chip. The dimples are quite noticeable, even from a distance. The very noticeable dimples make
applying a paper label to this chip almost a must!
Sample weights were 11.45, 11.11, 11.20, 11.05, 10.95, 11.16, and 10.92 grams. Sample diameters were 39.53, 39.68, 39.67, 39.66,
39.63, 39.65, and 39.65mm. Seven chips stacked together was 23.64mm thick.
OldWestPokerSupplies has an
entire page dedicated to poker chips that have recessed centers and are suitable for paper labels. These chips are a good option of
you plan to affix your own paper labels. They are only 10¢ each and the recessed center area is larger than many other chips with a
recessed center.
These are nice ceramic poker chips from BR Pro. They are similar to the Nevada Jack Desert Sands composite chips except for the
smoother finish. The design is not a label but is printed right into the chip. The denominations are easy to read.
I really like the background on these chips - it's not your typical solid color or image, it is a repeating design that compliments
the border design. The artwork is just colorful enough without being overbearing and overall the design is very unique and nice.
The edge spots are series of diagonal stripes that contrast nicely with the base color of the chip. Some of the chips have
a bit of a pimple on the rolling edge, but it is very small and would not be noticeable to the average player.
Sample weights were 10.48, 10.27, 10.37, 10.25, 10.53, 10.40, and 10.38 grams. Sample diameters were 39.35, 39.32, 39.34, 39.35,
39.30, 39.37, and 39.33mm. Seven chips stacked together was 23.97mm thick. They stack nice and are not very slippery, but not as
sturdy as a clay chip.
The BR Pro chips feature a barely noticeable shiny rim around the top perimeter of the chip that continues on to the rolling edge.
It's not really something that is very noticeable but the linen face is of a coarser texture than the edge of the chip.
These are BR Pro poker chips similar to the chips reviewed above. I like the colors on these chips - they are vibrant and have nice
blending from one shade to another. There is a bit of a pop-art feeling to these chips, almost like a comic book.
There are no denominations printed on the chip. The colors are purple, green, red, black, orange, and pink. There is a
playful feel to these poker chips, kinda like the frog pictured on the chip.
The edge spots are different on each chip denomination. They contrast nicely with the base color of the chip but the spot
on the face of the chip do not line up with the edge spots on the side of the chip.
Sample weights were 9.76, 9.73, 9.85, 10.06, 9.74, and 10.12 grams. Sample diameters were 39.38, 39.33, 39.32, 39.38, 39.35,
and 39.36mm. Six chips stacked together was 20.52mm thick.
Here are more BR Pro poker chips. Obviously, this is a set that is meant for tournament play since the denominations are 25, 100,
500, 1000, 5000, and 10,000. All the denominations have the same edge spot design of six white stripes and six black stripes.
Sample weights were 9.75, 10.02, 10.10, 10.13, 9.79, and 10.11 grams. Sample diameters were 39.31, 39.49, 39.30, 39.32, 39.29,
and 39.36mm. Six chips stacked together was 20.26mm thick.
This is a very laidback poker chip - nothing about it really stands out from the crowd but it is a good all-around poker chip.
