These are composite European style plaques from EuroPokerChips.com. They are available in white (100), red (200), green (500), and blue (1000). The face of each plaque shows bull horns and the words MATADOR SERIES along with very easy to read denomination in numerals. There is no currency symbol. The reverse side of the plaque shows the EuroPokerChips.com logo. the plaques are made in China.

These plaques have a surprisingly nice sound despite the fact that they are made of a plastic composite material - they have a very nice 'clack' when banged together. Being composite, they are a bit slippery, but the large surface area ensures that they do not move around too much when staked together.

Plaques are usually used to denote higher valued chips in a poker game but these plaques have a maximum denomination of 1000. This is unfortunate since most poker players do not usually use plaques in place of lower denominated chips - they take up too much room on the table in front of a player. Of course, you could ignore the denominations printed on the plaques and instead use them as high denomination chips.

The plaques measure 94.95 x 65.96mm and are a bit larger than a poker size playing card. Each plaque weighs  grams.37.17 grams.
