Vegas Plastic Playing Cards Review
Vegas Plastic Playing Cards
These are plastic playing cards that are available at Wal*Mart department stores in North America at a fairly
low price of $2.50-$3.00 per deck. They are available in regular or jumbo index. The graphics are vibrant and the background white is a
very bright white. The colors are okay but the red looks a little too orange and the typeface is nothing special. The backs of these cards
are full bleed graphics (all the way to the edge of the card).
These are the smoothest, shiniest, and most slippery plastic cards that I have reviewed. There is virtually no texture on these cards.
The slipperiness and lack of texture on the surface of the card gives these cards a much different feel than any of the high quality
plastic decks. The cards feel thick but are actually some of the thinnest plastic cards that I have reviewed.
The Vegas playing cards are a fine substitute for Royal playing cards (the closest competitor) and might be fine for large
tournaments where you need multiple decks of cards at a cheap price, but they are definitely not a high quality playing card. They
are extremely smooth and have no texture. They are slippery and a bit hard to shuffle. But they only cost a coupe dollars and they are
plastic cards and will last much longer than any paper card (at about the same price).
The Vegas plastic playing cards come in standard cardboard boxes. They are available at Wal*Mart for about $2.50-$3.00 in the United
States and just under $4 in Canada. They are also available in six-packs for an even more discounted price. They are a bit hard to find and
you might have to search several Wal*Mart stores to locate them.
