In general, when signing up at these poker rooms, you do not have to use a credit card or give any information other than your name, address, and email address. You do not have to deposit real money and you do not have to give out any of your banking information.

The HPT Freerolls move around from one poker room to another. Basically, we go wherever we can get the best payout from one of the HomePokerTourney advertisers. Not only does this make for the most money, but it also offers us the opportunity to play at, and test out, numerous online poker rooms.

The largest HPT Freerolls have been for $1,000 with the winner taking home a very cool $400! In addition, we have $50 bounties on the heads of two players - nutN2Lewz and the winner of the previous HPT Freeroll. That's right, eliminate the owner of this website from his own poker tournament and win $50!

Most HPT Freerolls are held at about 22:15 Eastern Time (10:15 pm) on Tuesday or Wednesday nights. This makes it possible for both east coast and west coast players to play. The average freeroll takes about 2.5 hours to complete, but of course, you could be eliminated in a matter of minutes!

Our freerolls are no-limit Texas hold'em tournaments and you usually start with 1000 or 1500 chips. You are eliminated from the freeroll when you lose all your chips. There are no rebuys or add-ons in these freerolls.

If a password is required to enter the freeroll, it will be PM'ed (Personal Messaged) to you in the HPT Forums approximately 30 minutes before the freeroll begins.
